A sentence of four years' imprisonment was reduced to two years for conspiracy to produce a Class C drug as the sentencing judge had adopted too high a starting point, namely six years, whereas an appropriate starting point would have been three years. A discount was given for the appellant's guilty plea and personal mitigation.
