[2003] EWCA Crim 962

Driving at 20 mph in a permanent bus lane before turning left at a junction just beyond a pelican crossing was not dangerous within the meaning of the Road Trafffic Act 1988 s.2A as it did not fall "far below" the required standard nor would it be "obvious" to a competent and careful driver that it was dangerous.
