[2013] NICA 52

A judge who asked a jury to give a special verdict on the circumstances surrounding an offence of unlawful sexual penetration, after it had delivered a majority guilty verdict, should have directed the jury in clearer terms. However, the offender's conviction was upheld as there was ample evidence to justify the finding of guilt.
