Whilst an application for permission to appeal against a confiscation order made under the Drug Trafficking Act 1994 could be heard independently of an earlier separate appeal against sentence, the application had little prospect of success because at no stage were the judge's findings of fact shown to be anything other than those expected of a reasonable judge. Accordingly, the application was dismissed.
