A sentence of four months' imprisonment was appropriate for an offender who had pleaded guilty to 27 counts of making an indecent photograph or pseudo-photograph of a child where the offences had comprised the downloading of over 3,000 indecent images on a systematic basis and the offender had been subjected to blackmail.
