[2013] EWCA Crim 356

A judge had been right to conclude that a young offender could not be fairly re-tried for murder and stay further proceedings on that issue as an abuse of process where the young offender had been convicted of the alternative charge of manslaughter and the jury had been unable to reach a verdict on murder.
