[2007] EWCA Crim 3159

A judge had failed to take into account the assistance given by an offender, convicted of conspiracy to cheat the Revenue, in making a statement against his co-defendants, and the effect that making that statement would have on him socially, so it was appropriate to substitute a sentence of one month's imprisonment for one of four months.
