[2007] EWCA Crim 805

Whilst consecutive extended sentences were appropriate for an offender who had committed two robberies and an attempted robbery, the overall custodial sentence of seven years' detention was manifestly excessive when taking into account the youth of the offender. A total sentence of 18 months was substituted for one of the robberies and attempted robbery to run consecutively with the three years and six months imposed for another robbery.
