[2010] EWCA Crim 1923

An order for the immediate destruction of a dog, imposed under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 s.4(1), was quashed and replaced with a contingent destruction order, as the recorder had failed to consider contingent destruction orders under s.4A of the Act before imposing the mandatory order.
