The Court of Appeal gave guidance in relation to crediting of periods of remand in custody under the Criminal Justice Act 2003 s.240, dealing with misstatements of the number of days credit to which an offender was entitled and the effect of the Powers of Criminal Courts (Sentencing) Act 2000.
