[2010] EWCA Crim 2113

A defendant's conviction was unsafe where his principal accuser had been allowed to give her evidence from behind a screen and he had not seen a clear image of her face. He had been deprived of the opportunity of assessing whether he recognised her and whether she was someone who might have had a reason to wrongly implicate him.
