[2010] EWCA Crim 3220
In murder cases, when considering the appropriate sentence the court should have regard to an offer to plead guilty to manslaughter. If there were good reasons for the defendant not entering the offered plea, credit should be given. However, if there was no good reason, no credit should be given.
