[2012] EWCA Crim 2635

A car driver's conviction for possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life as a result of a joint enterprise with a gunman to carry out a drive-by shooting of pedestrians had not been made unsafe by the judge's direction, in response to a question from the jury, that they could convict the driver on a narrower basis than that put forward by the prosecution.
