R v CURTIS SMITH (2013)

PUBLISHED July 18, 2013

A judge had not adequately taken into account an offender's age, his subordinate role, or the difference between his and his co-accused's previous convictions when sentencing him for burglary of domestic dwellings. The sentence was reduced from five years' imprisonment to four years to better reflect those factors.
