[2005] EWCA Crim 1277

A sentence of three years and six months for an offence of applying a corrosive fluid was manifestly excessive given the provocation received by the defendant and was reduced to a sentence of two years and six months. It was wrong to impose a consecutive sentence for damaging property as both offences were closely related in time and circumstance.
