[2007] EWCA Crim 1399

An offender who had committed a new offence while released on licence could, if the earlier offence had been committed before April 4, 2005, be ordered to return to custody, even though he had been administratively recalled, and be given a sentence for the new offence to run consecutively to the remainder of the earlier sentence.
