[2013] EWCA Crim 1169

Where an appellant was serving a five-year term of imprisonment for fraud and during it was sentenced for offences of theft perpetrated before the five-year term, the sentencing judge had to consider the totality of the sentences, including those that he was currently serving, as if the offender had been sentenced at the same time for all the offences involved.
