[2010] EWCA Crim 2255

Convictions for two counts of having a bladed article and two counts of failing to surrender to bail were quashed when fresh psychological evidence which came to light following the convictions revealed that the offender had been unfit to plead due to his limited intellectual functioning. Findings that the offender suffered from a disability and that he did the acts charged were substituted for the convictions.
