Where admissions relied on by the Crown to secure conviction had been made in an interview that was later wholly repudiated during which the defence of duress was also raised, the accused had been entitled to a direction that the jury should consider the interviews as a whole when considering the effect of the admission relied upon by the Crown and weighing the likelihood that the appellant was now telling the truth.
