[2012] EWCA Crim 2224
The Court of Appeal quashed a sentence of detention imposed in respect of offences of possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and intimidation, and substituted a community rehabilitation order for a period of two years, with a residency requirement of 12 months and a supervision requirement of two years, where the offender had a serious medical condition and the impact of a custodial sentence on that condition was undetermined.
