[2012] EWCA Crim 2574

Following a reference by the Criminal Cases Review Commission, a conviction for being knowingly concerned in the fraudulent evasion of the prohibition on the importation of goods was quashed where fresh evidence showed that the prosecution had relied on perjured evidence in support of the allegation that the offender was guilty.
