[2010] EWCA Crim 1335
When considering whether a person who had entered the United Kingdom on a false passport was "in transit" within the meaning of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999 s.31, that phrase had to be given a generous interpretation. The court had essentially to decide, looking at all the circumstances, whether that person was in the United Kingdom in the course of a flight.
