Sentences of twelve and seven years' imprisonment for conspiracy to commit burglary were upheld where the offenders, who had numerous previous convictions, had been involved in a campaign of 38 burglaries, for the most part at the homes of elderly persons and, in the case of one offender, while on licence from an earlier sentence for similar offences.
