Where important legal decisions were expected from higher courts about the validity of the procedures and presumptions for confiscation proceedings, a judge was entitled to have regarded the content of the expected decisions as "further information" required and, under s.3(3) Drug Trafficking Act 1994, to make a decision to postpone a confiscation hearing beyond the six-month time limit from the date of conviction.
