A sentence of 10 years' imprisonment for the organiser of a carousel fraud and conspiracy to launder the proceeds involving a loss of £7 million to Revenue and Customs was manifestly excessive, and a sentence of seven-and-a-half years' imprisonment was substituted. Sentences of eight years' imprisonment for co-conspirators for conspiracy to launder £6 million were also manifestly excessive, and sentences of six-and-a-half years were substituted.
