[2011] EWCA Civ 175

A judge had been entitled to quash a chief constable's decision to disclose to a prospective employer in an enhanced criminal record certificate allegations of child sexual abuse made against a job applicant. However, the judge had gone too far in granting declaratory and injunctive relief precluding future disclosure of the information.
