The home secretary, David Blunkett, last night said his emergency anti-terror law would now include powers to tag suspected terrorists if they were granted court bail.

Mr Blunkett is also seeking a new statutory power to challenge a court decision to grant bail to somebody he has already certified as an international suspected terrorist.
