Law Society Special General Meeting

The Law Society are to hold a Special General Meeting regarding Southampton solicitor Roger Peach's motion urging the Society to reject the principle of competitive tendering for criminal legal aid and to renegotiate contract terms with the Legal Services Commission (LSC).  The meeting will be held  at The Law Society's Hall, Chancery Lane, on 17 January 2007 at 10:00 and, following debate, a vote will be taken.  There will be no proxy votes.
