A sanction of being struck off the Roll of Solicitors for flagrant breaches of the Solicitors' Accounts Rules 1998 and the Solicitors' Practice Rules 1990 was replaced with a suspension period of four years for a solicitor who had been reckless rather than dishonest in his dealings and had shown candour and cooperation with the Law Society's investigations.
