In accordance with the terms of the 2017 Standard Crime Contract Specification para. 9.46, all staff undertaking police station duty solicitor work must carry, and produce on request, an identification card approved by the LAA. The LCCSA are an approved provider of such identity cards.
ID Cards issued by the LCCSA are credit card sized and made of durable plastic. They have the holder's photograph digitally imprinted and are renewed annually for added security.
The cost of the card is included in the annual membership subscription. For non-members, an annual fee of £36 is charged.
