[2013] UKPC 21

The Privy Council allowed an appeal against the dismissal of a young offender's claim for damages for false imprisonment where his sentence for murder had been unconstitutional. If the young offender had served longer than he would have done under a lawful sentence he would be entitled to compensatory damages.
