[2001] UKPC 55

The erasure of an ophthalmic surgeon's name from the medical register was a disproportionate sanction in view of the fact that his false accounting had only amounted to #728 at worst. Credit was given for his charitable work and his name restored to the register but suspended for three months in substitution.
