Defamation Act strengthens public interest defence
PUBLISHED December 31, 2013Trivial libel claims will be targeted under new laws coming into force tomorrow. The measure also aims to reduce ?libel tourism?, making it more difficult for foreigners to bring cases in courts in England and Wales.
