Crackdown on Criminal Bosses Clears Commons

The Government's flagship Bill to crackdown on organised crime cleared the Commons tonight but faces an uphill battle in the Lords.

The Serious Organised Crime and Police Bill was given a third reading without a vote.
But during a strictly time limited report stage there was bitter confrontation over moves to criminalise incitement to religious hatred and restrict demonstrations outside Parliament.
