COMMISSIONER OF POLICE OF THE METROPOLIS v MOHAMED RAISSI (2008)

PUBLISHED November 12, 2008
SHARE

[2008] EWCA Civ 1237

The proposition that it was sufficient for an arresting police officer to infer that his superiors must have had reasonable grounds for suspicion before instructing him to arrest a suspect was inconsistent with the decision in O'Hara v Chief Constable of the Royal Ulster Constabulary [1997] A.C. 286 and was not the law.
