PUBLISHED July 25, 2000In a reference by the Attorney-General, the Court of Appeal considered that sentences of three and four months' imprisonment respectively for offences of robbery committed on public transport were unduly lenient. Accordingly, the sentences were quashed and substituted with terms of two years' imprisonment for each offender.
