A sentence of nine months' imprisonment and two years' disqualification for causing death by dangerous driving was unduly lenient where the defendant had killed a man while attempting to overtake on a blind bend. They were quashed and substituted with a sentence of 15 months' imprisonment and a period of three years' disqualification, notwithstanding that the defendant had served the sentence and had been released.
