The Upper Tribunal was entitled to conclude that a former member of an Iranian paramilitary force had been complicit in the commission of acts amounting to crimes against humanity under the Rome Statute 2002 art.7(1)(k), and was therefore excluded from refugee status by virtue of the Convention relating to the Status of Refugees 1951 (United Nations) art.1F(a).
