[2009] EWHC 2083 (Admin)

A decision made by a chief constable to dispense with the services of a probationary police officer pursuant to the Police Regulations 2003 reg.13 was not irrational given the fundamental nature of the concerns about the probationer's behaviour and judgment which resulted from a consideration of the cumulative effect of four separate incidents occurring over a period of two years from the beginning of the probationary period.
