[2012] EWCA Crim 2711

For a single offence of domestic burglary a starting point of eight years' imprisonment had been too high despite the offender's extensive criminal record of theft offences and the fact that he had been on licence when committing the offence. The correct starting point was six years and the appropriate sentence one of four years.
