[2012] EWCA Crim 791

In a trial concerning allegations of sexual offences, some of which had occurred 36 years prior to trial, the judge was correct to refuse the offender's application to stay the indictment for abuse of process and there had been no unfairness in the trial due to the lack of documentary evidence of the abuse.
