Despite a Polish national's complaints as to the medical condition and poor health of his wife, and thereby the need to protect his rights under the European Convention on Human Rights 1950 art.8, there was no evidence of a sufficiently compelling nature to render his extradition to Poland to serve a sentence of imprisonment for robbery disproportionate to the legitimate aim of extradition in ensuring that those convicted of criminal conduct served the sentence issued.
