Legal, Practical and Tactical Considerations on an under-used defence in Confiscation Proceedings.
Mark Cotter was called to the bar in 1994 and specialises in all aspects of serious crime, with a particular emphasis on fraud (including confiscation) and serious sexual offences.  Although the majority of Mark's work is in the defence field, he is also admitted to the unified list of approved prosecution advocates at Grade 4 (including the rape panel) and the Serious Fraud Office list of specialist advocates at level "A".  In recent years Mark has gained particular experience of defending medical professionals who have been accused of sexual misconduct within a clinical setting.  Mark is one of the founding members of 5 St Andrew's Hill and has acted as a pupil supervisor since 2005.
