[2004] EWHC 2817 (Fam)

A local authority had a duty to investigate the position of a disabled person who wished her husband to arrange assisted suicide for her in Switzerland and to consider whether she was legally competent, but where she was competent it had no duty to seek the continuation of an injunction restraining the husband from removing his wife from England for that purpose.
