The fact that a person had served two-thirds of the sentence for offences for which his extradition was sought might be a factor to be taken into account in determining whether it would be proportionate to extradite him, but it would only be one factor. It was not for the English courts to take a view on whether or not a person had served a sufficient amount of a sentence imposed by another judicial authority.
