The appellants' convictions for conspiracy and murder were safe in circumstances where fresh evidence failed to establish either that the credibility of the chief witness for the prosecution had been undermined by media contact prior to the trial, or that there had been a significant change in the state of the expert mobile telephone evidence since the trial.
