Civilian police staff across Scotland have voted to hold a one-day strike next Thursday over an ongoing pay dispute - the first action of its kind in the country's history.

Emergency cover will be provided by police officers working overtime or on rest days.
Police forces in Scotland employ almost 4,000 support staff, including those handling 999 calls, fingerprint experts and forensic officers.
