MoJ consultation events ? Transforming Legal Aid

Register to attend your local session

The Government published its consultation 'Transforming Legal Aid: Delivering a more credible and efficient system' on 9 April. This includes

  • crime competition
  • fee changes, and
  • tightening up funding for prison law cases.

The Ministry of Justice is holding consultation events between Tuesday 7 May and Thursday 23 May in:

  • Birmingham
  • Brighton
  • Bristol
  • Cambridge
  • Cardiff
  • Exeter
  • Leeds
  • Liverpool
  • London
  • Manchester
  • Newcastle
  • Nottingham
  • Reading

All events will start at 5.30pm ? and not 3.30pm as first advertised.
