Bobbie Cheema, QC, senior Treasury counsel, of 2 Hare Court, prosecuted barrister and Recorder Constance Briscoe who was found guilty of all three charges of perverting the course of justice at the Old Bailey and sentenced to 16 months in prison. She is thought to be the first serving (part-time) UK judge to be convicted of that offence.
