Updated guidance on the use of the LAC1 form for either way cases directed to Crown Court by magistrates

Advocates and litigators can now refer to updated guidance when using the LAC1 committal form.

This is the form which is required for LGFS and AGFS claims in either way cases that are directed to the Crown Court by the magistrates'.

The guidance provides an update on the use of the LAC1 form in local justice areas where committal proceedings have been abolished.

It also provides scenarios where either way cases are treated as indictable only - together with the evidential requirements to support these claims.
